In honor of our state’s soccer team, the RailHawks, and as part of our family here at The Greens, we’d like to dedicate this blog to our favorite and the best – sorry we’re a little bias – professional soccer team. After all, the name itself provides the impression of a force we’d rather not reckon with, would you?
Upon first impression, the term “RailHawk” combines characteristics that create an image of solidary strength and unwavering agility. A winner from the “name-the-team” contest, W. Jarrett Campbell – a soccer blogger and founder of Triangle Soccer Fanatics – chose the name “RailHawk” because it represents the speed and power of the locomotive meanwhile encompassing the unforgiving aggression of the Hawk.
You can guarantee this season that our Carolina RailHawks will exude this swiftness, command, and drive on the playing field, so if you haven’t made plans for this weekend consider checking out their 10th anniversary and 2016 Season Home Opener this upcoming Saturday. Our Carolina RailHawks will be versing the Minnesota United at WakeMed Soccer Park, and our fellow soccer players would appreciate the support, especially from The Greens family.
